Open Call Talenthub Inversie [Nederlands]
Ben jij een kunstenaar met een connectie met Brabant? Ben je ambitieus en wil je investeren in de artistieke en zakelijke ontwikkeling van je beroepspraktijk? Dan kom je misschien in aanmerking voor Inversie, een talentontwikkelingsprogramma in Noord-Brabant voor beeldend kunstenaars. Inversie is een kortlopend programma dat zich richt op jonge of startende talenten tot vijf jaar na afstuderen die concrete ontwikkelvragen in hun praktijk hebben. Vanaf 15 december 2022 tot 29 januari 2023 kun je bij Inversie aanmelden via deze open call.

Hoe werkt het
Je kunt je aanmelden door een e-mail te sturen naar sanne@inversie.nu met je CV, je portfolio en een motivatie. Na de deadline gaan wij in februari controleren of je aanmelding volledig is. Halverwege februari krijg je bericht van ons of je in de eerste selectie zit waarna er selectiegesprekken worden gepland. Eind februari maken we de selectie definitief en starten we in maart 2023 met de eerste activiteit. Natuurlijk mag je ook altijd mailen als er vragen zijn.

Criteria

• Twee tot vijf jaar afgestudeerd
• Wonend of werkend in Brabant, of een connectie met Brabant
• Een aantoonbare autonome en artistieke praktijk
• Een aantoonbare onderzoekende of experimentele werkhouding
• Besteed minstens twee dagen per week aan je praktijk
• Beschikbaar om deel te nemen aan alle onderdelen van het programma
• Bereid tot kennisdeling en groepsdeelname
• Inzichtelijke ambities voor de korte en lange termijn

Aanmelding
Je aanmelding voor Inversie of bestaat uit:

• Je motivatie waarin je toelicht waarom Inversie voor jou urgent is om aan deel te nemen. Hierin geef je zo helder en concreet mogelijk aan wat jouw ontwikkelvragen zijn, wat je ambitie is, je artistieke visie, hoe actief je bent binnen je praktijk of het kunstenveld en waarom je wil deelnemen. Let op, Inversie heeft twee trajecten dus geef duidelijk aan welk jaar je wilt deelnemen.
• Je CV met een relevante selectie en je volledige gegevens inclusief website en social media links.
• Je portfolio met beeldmateriaal en indien van toepassing links naar audiovisueel materiaal, voorzien van titel, jaar, materiaal, context, partners of samenwerking en een korte inhoudelijke toelichting.

Over Inversie
Inversie begeleidt talentvolle jonge beeldend kunstenaars die twee tot vijf jaar afgestudeerd zijn – en een Brabantse connectie hebben – in de overgang van de academie naar een veelzijdige beroepspraktijk. Tien maanden lang worden kunstenaars, die hun werkveld buiten de reguliere kaders van de kunstwereld plaatsen, begeleid in hun artistieke ontwikkeling en passend ondernemerschap. Inversie staat voor omkering van de gewone orde en durft ook buiten de gebaande paden op zoek naar innovatieve methodes die passen bij de kunst en de kunstenaar. De kracht van Inversie ligt in de persoonlijke begeleiding, groepsbinding en inhoudelijke verdieping waarmee er een basis voor zelfvertrouwen wordt gelegd in combinatie met workshops en expertmeetings. Inversie werkt in het programma samen met diverse partners uit het Brabantse kunstenveld zoals Kunstpodium T, Willem Twee Kunstruimte, Witte Rook, Stedelijk Museum Breda, TAC en Grafisch Atelier Den Bosch.

Inversie heeft een traject in 2023: Inversie#3, en in 2024: Inversie#4. Voor beide jaren wordt via deze open call geselecteerd met de mogelijkheid voor zij-instroom. Ieder traject duurt 10 maanden: Inversie#3 is van maart tot en december 2023 en Inversie#4 is van februari tot en met november 2024.

Eén open call, twee ontwikkeltrajecten
Vanaf 15 december 2022 tot 29 januari 2023 scouten jump! en Inversie samen talentvolle kunstenaars die in Brabant wonen, werken of een aantoonbare connectie hebben. Zowel jump! als Inversie bieden een traject aan voor beeldend kunstenaars met als verschil dat Inversie een kortlopend programma is dat zich richt op jonge of startende talenten tot vijf jaar na afstuderen en jump! is gericht op kunstenaars die vier jaar of langer actief zijn. Over TalentHub Brabant
Voor de ontwikkeling van talent en professioneel aan de slag te kunnen is het programma TalentHub opgezet door de Provincie Noord-Brabant. In de TalentHub krijgen talenten die door de sector zelf worden uitgekozen ondersteuning op maat via een netwerk van festivals, podia, presentatie-instellingen en diverse organisaties. Of het nu gaat om een hub voor muziek, theater, dans, literatuur, design of beeldende kunst, het talent staat altijd centraal.

Are you as an artist connected with Brabant? Are you ambitious and do you want to invest in the artistic and practical development of your professional practice? Then you may be eligible for Inversie, a talent development program in Noord-Brabant for visual artists. Inversie is a short-term program that focuses on young or starting talents up to five years after graduation who have specific development questions in their practice. From December 15, 2022, to January 29, 2023, you can register at Inversion via this open call.

How does it work
You can register by sending an e-mail to sanne@inversie.nu with your CV, your portfolio and a motivation. After the deadline we will check in February whether your application is complete. You will receive a message from us in mid-February whether you are in the first selection, after which selection interviews will be scheduled. We will finalize the selection at the end of February and start the first activity in March 2023. Of course, you can always sent an e-mail if you have any questions.

Criteria

• Graduated two to five years
• Living or working in Brabant, or a connection with Brabant
• A proven autonomous and artistic practice
• A proven investigative or experimental work attitude
• Spend at least two days a week on your practice
• Available to participate in all parts of the program
• Willing to share knowledge and be a part of the group
• Insightful ambitions for the short and long term

Application
Your application for Inversion or consists of:

• Your motivation in which you explain why Inversion is urgent for you to participate. In this you indicate as clearly and specific as possible what your development questions are, what your ambition is, your artistic vision, how active you are within your practice or the arts and why you want to participate. Please note, Inversie has two tracks, so clearly indicate which year you want to participate.
• Your CV with a relevant selection and your full details including website and social media links.
• Your portfolio with visual material and, if applicable, links to audiovisual material, provided with title, year, material, context, partners or collaboration and a short substantive explanation.

About Inversie
Inversie guides talented young visual artists who graduated two to five years ago – and are connected to Brabant – in the transition from the academy to a versatile professional practice. For ten months, artists who place their field of work outside the regular frameworks of the art world are guided in their artistic development and appropriate entrepreneurship. Inversie stands for reversing the ordinary order and also dares to go off the beaten track in search of innovative methods that suit the art and the artist. The strength of Inversie lies in the personal guidance, group bonding and substantive deepening, with which a foundation for self-confidence is laid in combination with workshops and expert meetings. Inversion works in the program with various partners in the arts in Brabant such as Kunstpodium T, Willem Twee Kunstruimte, Witte Rook, Stedelijk Museum Breda, TAC and Graphic Atelier Den Bosch.

Inversion has a trajectory in 2023: Inversion#3, and in 2024: Inversion#4. Selection is made for both years via this open call with the possibility of a partly entry. Each trajectory lasts 10 months: Inversion#3 is from March through December 2023 and Inversion#4 is from February through November 2024.

One open call, two development projects
From December 15, 2022 to January 29, 2023 jump! and Inversie scout together talented artists who live, work or have a proven connection with Brabant. Both jump! as Inversie offer a trajectory for visual artists, with the difference that Inversie is a short-term program that focuses on young or starting talents up to five years after graduation and jump! is aimed at artists who have been active for four years or more.
